Mindfulness Through the Senses:
A Six-Week Experiential Group
By slowing down and cultivating mindful awareness through exploration of our five senses, we can:
*Create a deeper connection to ourselves and loved ones.
*Reduce stress and calm anxious thought patterns.
*Increase focus and our ability to be present.
This group will offer an introduction to the benefits and practice of Mindful Self-Exploration and Meditation, followed by an in-depth exploration of each sense (smell, sight, taste, touch, sound) through various experiential exercises, over the course of six weeks.

5/31 Seeing Mindfully (guided imagery)
6/7 Tasting Mindfully (conscious eating)
6/14 Touching Mindfully (self-massage)
6/21 Hearing Mindfully (sound therapy)

Group co-facilitated by Itai Neiger and April Snow, current Marriage and Family Therapist Trainees* at the Golden Gate Integral Counseling Center in San Francisco. Both have been using Mindfulness Practices for many years to slow down, experience life in a more conscious and embodied way, engage more fully in relationships and have a deeper capacity for emotional expression.
